Mike Nielsen has a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, and has learned that hard work, honesty and integrity are essential to achieving goals. Nielsen, a vice president of mortgage lending at Guaranteed Rate, knows that customer service matters most in this business.

“I want to give my clients the best deal in the marketplace,” he says. “I am available 24/ to get their questions answered and to walk them through the homebuying and loan approval process. I love interacting with new clients and seeing how excited they are when they close on their first home.”

His goal for the year is to double his purchase and refinance business, and is already on track to do so. When not devoting time to clients, he spends time with his wife, Lori, and their two young daughters, Sienna and Scarlett.
