Kate Waddell

Broker, Senior Vice President of Sales
Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Kate Waddell has always embraced a hard-working lifestyle, and with the recent addition of brokers Carissa Wolfman and Molly Fox to her team at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, she’s able to focus her energy on the needs of each client. While Waddell’s first career was in elementary education, it turns out that her move into real estate was a perfect match for her passions. Having an education background informs Waddell’s relationships with her clients as she takes on the role of coach and teacher, providing her clients with all the information and advice they need to make an informed decision.

With a decade of experience and an impressive track record — including standing in the Chicago Association of Realtors’ top 1 percent of brokers every year since 2009 — Waddell serves as a broker and senior vice president of sales. In 2016, Waddell sold over $38 million and earned a spot among the top five brokers at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty for the second year in a row.

She also brought Wolfman and Fox onto her team in 2016 a pair that has been providing clients with a streamlined experience. “I have a great team that helps make the entire process as efficient and simplistic as possible,” she says. Waddell and her team cater to buyers and sellers within Chicago, the western suburbs and the North Shore, and 90 percent of her clients retain her for buying and selling simultaneously. Wolfman, who also comes from an education background, recognizes that trustworthiness is a critical component for such an important milestone as buying or selling a home.  Fox streamlines the real estate process for clients by serving as a trusted advisor who works diligently and with integrity on their behalf.

Now, Waddell continues to live her dream. “I always wanted to be in sales,” she says. “I enjoy working really hard and being rewarded for my steadfast commitment to clients.” Above all else, Waddell sees herself as her clients’ partner rather than someone with a personal agenda. “It is absolutely about the relationship for me, not the transaction,” she says, “and my goal with every transaction is to ensure that my clients have a memorable experience.”
