Wintrust Mortgage Regional Sales Manager Jason Bryant has always been intrigued by the mortgage industry. Inspired by the desire to help people fulfill the American Dream of homeownership, his working philosophy encourages his colleagues to understand how they can make a difference in clients’ lives and in the community.

Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Southern Illinois University, as well as a High-Impact Leadership Certification from Loyola University, Chicago. To obtain a better understanding of the industry, Bryant has held a variety of roles throughout his 15 years in the business, starting in fulfilment and moving on to sales roles. For the last seven years he has been in leadership roles, working closely with Wintrust Mortgage’s executive team. His experience holding positions in all aspects of the business gives Bryant a unique, well-rounded perspective on what works and how to overcome challenges.

Bryant was awarded the Wintrust Mortgage Sales Manager of the Year Award in 2015 for his significant contributions to the company.  For the past three years, he has also been presented with President’s Circle trips, which are awarded to the company’s top loan officers and managers throughout the country.

“My philosophy is to treat those I manage, be it loan officers or managers, as my customers. If I provide them the support needed, they in turn will deliver support to our borrowers and real estate community,” Bryant says.  With respect to the mortgage process, he says, “Navigating the purchase process can be overwhelming for first-time homebuyers. This is often the biggest investment our clients will make in their lifetime. I strive to lead my team through the ever-changing landscape.”

Bryant considers himself a “foodie,” and when he isn’t spending his free time experimenting with recipes at home, he’s dining at Chicago’s finest restaurants. Who knows – maybe one day we will see him on the Food Network’s Chopped: Mortgage Edition.
