Premiere Sales Consultant
Dream Town Realty

Brooke Daitchman recalls the fun she had as a child attending open houses with her mother: properties that were incredibly beautiful and exciting to tour. Those experiences have always resonated with her, and led to her decision to pursue a career in real estate more than 11 years ago. A Chicago Association of Realtors top producer since 2009, this lifelong Chicago and North Shore resident possesses expert negotiation and communication skills in addition to a staunch commitment to handling each transaction with honesty and integrity. “I take pride in being up front with my clients and never telling people only what they want to hear because I know they appreciate the kind of candor that allows them to make an informed decision,” she says.

This approach has enabled Daitchman to build a strong, referral-based roster of clients in this competitive market. Daitchman also finds her academic studies in psychology and sociology invaluable, giving her a deep understanding of the personalities she works with, a critical skill for her profession. “I work with clients ranging from first- time homebuyers to eager sellers, from people looking for the perfect city dwelling to those wishing to relocate to the suburbs,” she points out. “What’s great about my career is working with new people every day, but it helps to be able to understand their motivation so that I can best serve them.”

Daitchman finds that securing a winning bid in Chicago’s thriving market and helping individuals sell a less-than-desirable property are the main problems clients look to her her to solve, but she is always up to the task. “Again, it goes back to having honest conversations with people,” she says, adding that this has helped her move homes that have been on the market for six months or longer within one month of becoming the listing agent. “I’m inspired when I can help buyers and sellers begin the next chapter in life,” she explains, and credits her Dream Town colleagues for providing ongoing mentoring and training that has enabled her to expand her business and start her own team.

Daitchman volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and supports Coat Angels, a nonprofit that provides warm outerwear for the city’s neediest children. Real estate, she believes, enables her to give back to the community that has given her so much, and now her sister also works on her team. “My mother wasn’t thrilled when I decided to pursue this profession instead of finishing grad school, but she says I never listen to her,” Daitchman laughs. “I’m so thankful I made this decision, because I love what I do and I wouldn’t trade it for anything – not even being Beyoncé!”
