Joanne Nemerovski

Broker Manager
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group

When Joanne Nemerovski helped her friend’s mother negotiate the purchase of her new condominium, a star Realtor was born. Twenty- five years and $1 billion in sales later, the number of clients this luxury home specialist has supported is as impressive as their appreciation for her dedication to their best interests. “I’ve always loved helping people,” Nemerovski explains, a statement evidenced by her recent recognition as Berkshire Hathaway’s No. 1 producing broker in the Midwest, a 12-state region.

Nemerovski credits her legal education and work as an attorney before she entered real estate for her ability to judiciously examine all aspects of a negotiation with the kind of critical thinking that is imperative to achieving optimal results. Her additional studies in business marketing and management prepared her to carefully consider and execute appropriate strategies when listing a client’s property. With an eye for detail, she carefully helps her clients stage the home; this coupled with advertising extensively helps her clients achieve the highest possible price. With sales averaging $1.5 million, her main objective is to educate luxury buyers and sellers as she guides their real estate transaction. “I personally take my clients through each step of the process and I know that my experience, knowledge of the market and extensive network really help them in every facet from start to finish.”

The process includes helping sellers understand how best to price their home in keeping with market conditions, as well as presenting buyers with listings in keeping with their budget that nonetheless meet their needs and wants. While her expert approach has earned her multiple awards, she describes her family as her pride and joy. She also discusses the fulfillment she derives from volunteering with organizations like the Respiratory Health Association, Facing History and Ourselves, and Tutoring Chicago. She also supports area soup kitchens and recently helped organize and chaperoned a trip for 29 high school Juniors from Englewood on a spring break trip to visit colleges.

“I love being a positive part of people’s life change by finding them the perfect home,” says Nemerovski, a native Chicagoan with an in-depth understanding of the city’s many neighborhoods. “It’s really exciting, and after so many years it’s wonderful that so much of my business is repeat clients (who are now friends) as well as their referrals!”
