Coldwell Banker Adds Co-Managing Brokers and New Managing Broker to Lincoln Square, Edgebrook Offices

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has announced that brokers Phil Barone and Lori Wyatt have been appointed as co-managing brokers of its Lincoln Square office, while Realtor Susan Swift has been appointed to the managing broker position of its Edgebrook office, according to issued press releases.

All three will bring a combined total of over 60 years of industry experience to their respective positions.

As co-managers of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Lincoln Square office, Barone and Wyatt will both help and mentor fellow agents in building business and client contacts.

Barone, who joined the Coldwell Banker team in 2007, has over 25 years of experience under his belt. He initially started with a title and mortgage company, and subsequently started his own real estate company prior to joining Coldwell Banker. Hailing from the Lincoln Square area, Barone has extensive selling experience in the neighborhoods of North Center, Edgebrook and Lincolnwood, among other nearby areas.

Wyatt, on the other hand, has been in the industry since 1992, also owning her company prior to joining the Coldwell Banker family. She’s had experience working with buyers from every between the South Loop to the North Shore, utilizing technology and a strong online presence to build business.

Unlike Barone and Wyatt, Swift will serve as the sole managing broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Edgebrook office.

Swift has been the industry for 26 years, spending 10 years as an agent and 16 years managing offices. She got her start in the Coldwell Banker family working for its Stanmeyer team. She then went off to manage offices for various Keller Williams Chicago offices prior to landing her role. A certified mediator, business development coach and personal growth and behavior modification coach, Swift has a BS in Education from Loyola University.

Kathy Kalnes, regional vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, feels confident about the brokerage’s appointments in Barone, Wyatt and Swift.

“Phil and Lori together bring a wealth of knowledge to this partnership and I am incredibly proud to have them on board as co-managing brokers in Lincoln Square,” she said.

In regards to Swift’s role for Edgebrook, Kalnes said, “We are thrilled to have [Swift] as the new managing broker, and with nearly 30 years of experience [we] are confident that she can help grow our north side Edgebrook office.”
