Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), Chicagoland’s multiple listing service, has announced that its MLS system, connectMLS, was rated the highest in the latest WAV Group MLS Technology Survey Report.

From September 29 to November 4, 2012, the WAV Group fielded their annual MLS Technology Survey to participating MLSs throughout the United States and Canada. Seventy-two MLSs, representing 37 different states or provinces, participated in the survey at both the staff and user level. More than 15,000 individual participants filled out the survey completely, making it the largest survey of its kind. MRED had the largest number of respondents of any MLS with nearly 5,000.

In response to the survey question, “What is your overall satisfaction with your MLS system?” MRED respondents gave connectMLS an average rating of 8.22 out of a possible 10, the only MLS system to have an overall rating above 8. connectMLS also had the highest ratings for:

  • Design and visual appeal
  • Ease of use
  • Adding and modifying
  • Searching
  • Comparable reports
  • Creating personalized/branded listing brochures
  • Statistical report functions
  • Ease of loading and managing photos
  • Set up of auto search for customers
  • Map searching
  • Map search results display
  • Mobile access, and
  • Web sites for clients to view listings.

“Naturally, we are thrilled that our customers recognize what our staff already knows – that connectMLS is the best MLS system,” said MRED CEO Russ Bergeron. “Of significance to me is that connectMLS is recognized for its excellence across the board, in all categories. It’s not a one-trick pony – connectMLS provides a complete MLS experience that is unmatched by any other system.”
