Last week, we reported on the rate of housing starts across Chicagoland’s counties; what has the environment looked like for new home sales, during that same time?

To find out, we consulted another set of exclusive numbers from MetroStudy, which had already reported, via their latest quarterly analysis, that the annual rate of closings in Chicagoland was up 9.5 percent year-over-year in 2014’s four quarter.
