CAR and WikiRealty Enhance the Exchange of Real Estate Knowledge

by Rachel Mazanec

The Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) and WikiRealty recently signed an agreement to enhance the exchange of real estate knowledge in Chicagoland.

WikiRealty is filling a critical gap in the real estate ecosystem by providing a uniquely useful platform to everyone involved with real estate in Chicago. The online town square provides a new online destination where consumers, Realtors and related industries can share local insights about residential and commercial real estate. Recognizing this, CAR decided to enter an agreement with the company in order to uphold their mission to be the voice of real estate in Chicago, as well as empower CAR agents and bring them more value.

Under the terms of the agreement, CAR’s member agents get unprecedented access to the WikiRealty platform, including premier positioning of their listings. WikiRealty®will also prominently feature CAR’s weekly posts to provide additional exposure for CAR’s content. WikiRealty and CAR will also crosslink their sites.

WikiRealty provides a dynamic online company where users can contribute to an easy exchange of insider real estate tips and knowledge. The company welcomes contributions from anyone associated with real estate, from agents, to buyers and sellers, to architects, lawyers and other service professionals. Referring to themselves as the most vibrant community in real estate, WikiRealty has launched in Chicago, Miami, Milwaukee and Naples and is expanding to other major U.S. cities by the end of the year. Sanjay Kuttemperoor, CEO of WikiRealty, said the company is thrilled that CAR has decided to partner with them

“We launched in Chicago about a month ago and the response from the community has been phenomenal so far,” said Kuttemperoor. “We are thrilled that CAR. has chosen to partner with us. It’s a true testament to CAR’s commitment to its agents, highlighting their strengths and knowledge, and helping them attract new buyers and sellers.”
