Nancy Nagy, Michael Pierson and Chris Eigel, CEO, President and Chairman Emeritus of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty, respectively, accepted an award for the No. 3 brokerage in the nation on behalf of the firm and its agents at the BHHS National Convention in Las Vegas.
“This award is bestowed upon precious few companies, so we are extremely pleased to receive it. We consider it a great honor,” added Pierson.
KoenigRubloff was also honored as the No. 1 brokerage in the Midwest. In additional company awards, the Mag Mile office, located at 980 N. Michigan Avenue, was named among the Top 10 BHHS offices in the country.
In individual agent awards, the company’s Jeff Lowe, of the Lowe Group at the Lincoln Park Clark Street office, and Mario Greco, of The MG Group at the Lincoln Park Clybourn Street office, were both named among the Top 10 Teams in the BHHS network.
Joanne Nemerovski, also at the Lincoln Park Clark Street office, received the No. 1 Agent in the Midwest Region award, and The Lowe Group was honored as the No. 1 Agent Team.

Ronald McDonald House Teams Up With BHHS KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Wheaton Office
Additionally, BHHS KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Wheaton office, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports local initiatives, prepared meals for residents and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
“I just want to say that the Meals from the Heart program is a fantastic program,” said Ken Spengel, the vice president and managing broker of BHHS KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Wheaton office. “When the idea was presented at an office meeting to see if anyone wanted to go to the house and prepare meals for the residents, the response was unanimous. We were able to have a great time cooking and laughing, then we sat down and shared a meal with the residents of the house.”
The Meals from the Heart program was developed for families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are being treated at Central DuPage Hospital. Many of the residents live miles away from the hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House allows them to stay close to the hospital. Volunteers are able to come in on a particular date to prepare meals for the residents staying in the home.
Spengel says the Wheaton office will be volunteering again in April, and then in June they will be grilling during the company wide week of kindness.
