Baird & Warner Names Jo Lay New Vice President of Relocation Corporate Services

Baird & Warner, Chicagoland’s largest, locally owned independent residential real estate services company, has named Jo Lay, SCRP, SGMS, a 26-year relocation industry veteran, the company’s new vice president of relocation corporate services.

Prior to accepting the position as Vice President, Lay worked for Coldwell Banker where she was the relocation director for the Chicago and Milwaukee markets. Lay has also held the position of regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Relocation Services for the central region, covering Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Columbus, Cincinnati and St. Louis.

“Jo brings with her an incredible passion for the relocation industry and total dedication to providing the best service for each and every one of her clients,” said Laura Ellis, senior vice president and general sales manager at Baird & Warner. “Her mastery of global workforce mobility will be a huge asset. Under Jo’s leadership, we will expand our corporate relocation presence, while still providing a superior level of individualized customer service. She will also work towards increasing Baird & Warner’s presence within Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®.”

Lay has received numerous recognitions from the relocation industry, including the Meritorious Award from Worldwide ERC®. She has been a member of the Worldwide ERC Board of Directors and US Advisory Council, as well as served as chair of the editorial committee for MOBILITY magazine. Lay is a past president and current member of the Relocation Directors Council and a member of the Chicago chapter of the Corporate Relocation Council.

Lay is a frequent speaker at industry conferences throughout the country, and has earned both the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP®) and Senior Global Mobility Specialist (SGMS™) designations from Worldwide ERC.
