What was your first job in the realty industry? I was a Realtor at Coldwell Banker.

Where did you grow up? Chicago.

What is your favorite free-time activity? Going into the city with my son and husband and enjoying the museums.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Bike riding, yoga and shopping.

If you weren’t a Realtor, what would you be? A world travel blogger.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Gatto’s (Restaurant and Bar) in Downers Grove or The Cellar Door.

What do you love most about the industry? The ability to meet great people from all different paths in life, who are making one of the most important purchases in their lives.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? A recipe of knowing the marketplace, going above and beyond and creating a mutual respect and trust.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? The ups and downs of the marketplace.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Social groups, involvement in school and community events, charity functions and open houses.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? The birth of our son.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “Memoirs of a Geisha.” I need to read more.

What is your favorite restaurant? Bice Cafe Chicago.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? The Rookery Building on Lasalle.

What kind of car do you drive? Land Rover.

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? New York City.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Stay focused and disciplined, and every chance you get, tell someone what you do.
