Stephany Oliveros

Owner and Managing Broker
CHI Properties

Since venturing on her own in 2011, Stephany Oliveros has been steadily on the rise. The CHI Properties owner/managing broker closed 158 transactions last year and is currently marketing 40-plus listings and selling 12-plus properties per month.

Oliveros and her CHI Properties team have a combined 30 years of experience and utilize a fresh, modern approach to marketing even the hardest-to-sell properties. A licensed broker in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana, Oliveros credits her degree in economics with helping her understand, analyze and capitalize on market trends. Additionally, her unique cultural background fuels a strong, undying work ethic.

“Having the wonderful opportunity to travel through Asia, Europe and the Americas has given me a global perspective,” she says. “That helps me relate to customers from different cultures, gain the trust of a broader group of people and cater to different client needs, whether buying or selling.”

That work ethic has especially helped Oliveros overcome tough challenges, particularly during the economic downturn. During that time, she took the steps necessary to reassess her business and learn new skills and specialties, including foreclosures, and representing institutional and distressed sellers.

Oliveros has been named among Chicago Association of Realtors’ top 1 percent the past three years, and as a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Oliveros is on top of her game.

“My mission is to always find a better way,” she says. “We are constantly tweaking our process, looking to make communication with clients more efficient. If you want to remain in this industry, you have to keep up. Whether it be learning new technology or assessing methods and roles, my team is on it. Going forward, our strategy to meet the growing demand is to attract quality agents, provide coaching and abundant staff support.”
