What was your first job in the realty industry?
I have been working in real estate for 32 years. I wrote an offer for a home on my first day. I was so excited until I went to the presentation and realized I was up against five other seasoned agents with multiple offers. My clients got the house. That’s why I love this business.

Who inspires you?
My family, especially my children

What is your favorite free-time activity?
My favorite free time activities are traveling, boating and finding the best beach for sun tanning.

How did you learn the business?
When I started in the business, we didn’t even have a MLS system. Am I dating myself? I had to memorize buildings, amenities and neighborhoods. For me, watching the city develop has been a wonderful experience.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
I really am not into movies. The best musical I’ve seen lately is “Wicked.” I loved it. I also enjoy James Patterson’s books.

What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Rodity’s in Greek Town. I love the atmosphere and home cooking. It always reminds me of my trips to Greece.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago?
I love the Wrigley Building. It really looks beautiful at night.

What kind of car do you drive?
Volvo S70

What is your favorite city after Chicago?
New Orleans; I visited my daughter there over the course of several years. The neighborhoods, restaurants and architecture are beautiful.

What is your personal motto?
My motto is to always be truthful and kind, and to listen to what people are saying.

Know your inventory, respect your fellow agents and always show integrity.
