Chicagoland home to the nation’s top 2 high schools

In an incredible testament to the area’s education resources, five Chicagoland high schools were ranked among the 10 best in the U.S. in a new Niche analysis – including the No. 1 and 2 spots.

The rankings are as follows: Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire nabbed the top spot, with the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy in Aurora coming in at No. 2; then, Northside College Preparatory High School was No. 6, Whitney M. Young Magnet High School was No. 7 and Walter Payton College Prep was No. 9.
